No turning back now, we paid for everything last night. YES !!!
We love London, been there 3 times and wanted to go again, so we decided to go to London for a few weeks and then spend the rest of the summer discovering Ireland, Scottland, Wales, and maybe end it off in the Netherlands which we also one of our favorites.
London
Ireland
Scottland
Wales
Netherlands
All these countries are right next to each other so while we will have a lot of inner flights, and will be doing a lot of driving also.
Sounds like a great summer. We are going to stay all summer like we always do, but i'm taking my ipad so I will be able to get online and post pictures and stuff when I have down time which isn't often. We are really excited, that gives me a month to lose a few more pounds before we leave.
YEAAAAA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been to London 3 times and never tire of it even though it's expensive as hell, , and we have been to the Netherands also, so the bulk of our time will be spent in Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. We are spending the whole summer so we will have a bunch of time to explore everthing. We stay so long so that we can get the true experience and not just tourist stuff.
Don't be jealous, come along.

One of these days...I am going to start travelling again. They have excellent travel deals here at my job. They are tailored for students so they are guided but the costs can't be beat. When my girls are a little older and can understand the significance of places we visit....I will be on the road again with them in tow.... I want them to be able to apply what they learn in the classroom to the real world. especially history and geography!
That sounds fantastic. Its so nice to have the priveledge of leisurely travel. I hope you have a blast!

I loved London & the Netherlands wish I could be a stow-away for that leg of the trip! Can't wait to see the pic's from Ireland and Scottland & Wales I have images of the beautiful countyside. ENJOY.
I almost went into education to have the summers off but decided that should not be my number one reason to choose a profession :) but at this point in my life teaching on a college level is becoming an attractive idea worth exploring. I would feel soooooooooo spoiled.
